A Tourist visa is valid for one entry (in some cases it's possible to get a double-entry Russian visa).
Period of stay in Russia: up to 30 days. Extension is not possible!
Visa Invitation: Tourist Invitation (two documents: Voucher and Confirmation) issued by a Russian tourist company which has a so-called Tour-Reference number at the Department of Consular Service of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Consulate may request additional detailed information about your journey in Russia: this called the Traffic-Voucher.
Terms and price for the Visa Invitation: Depends only on the tourist company.
Terms and price for issuing a tourist visa at the Russian Consulate: Specific for each Consulate. Usually the Consular fee is not high, but the procedure takes longer than processing a Business visa.
